It’s all about the journey.
I was born in Durango CO. I spent my childhood running around the forests of the four corners area before moving to Salt Lake City UT. Talk about culture shock. From there I moved to Park City UT, then Hood River OR. I spent high school in Oregon before moving first to Bozeman MT, then New Zealand (where I may or may not have stripped), followed by Playa Del Carmen Mexico and Vancouver BC in quick succession. I’ve always loved travel, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.
I have a BS degree in Microbiology and Oceanography. I am currently living in Berkeley, CA pursuing a Master’s of Engineering in Biological Engineering at UC Berkeley. I hope to go into the private sector and develop biological carbon capture and bioreactor technology.
I am an avid mountain biker, skier, rock climber, kite boarder, and kayaker. I recently got my open water PADI SCUBA certification and my P2 paragliding certification. If it involves adrenaline and the outdoors, you will probably find me doing it.
I try to approach life with an open mind and heart. I find that if you listen to the flow of things, you’ll always end up where you’re supposed to be. I have been extremely fortunate in my short life, and I want to share that fortune with everyone I can. To that end, I am always looking for ways to solve our world’s problems.
